U-La-La is not close to C-USA membership

The Daily Advertiser: Cajuns aren't close to C-USA yet

UL(L) Ragin’ Cajuns athletic director Scott Farmer said there is “absolutely no truth” to a message-board rumor suggesting Conference USA officials traveled to Lafayette early this week to visit the UL(L) campus.

“We have not met with officials from any league,” the athletic director said when asked about the bogus online rumor.

Oh well, with that out of the way, they can focus their resources on getting their Big XII bid anyway.

I think Farmer is trying to swerve everyone.

Everyone down there knows that the C-USA officials arrived in Lafayette in the middle of the night in mysterious black helicopters, did careful and meticulous recon on the gorgeous facilities on the ULL campus, and successfully neutralized the secret Big XII, SEC, and NFL spies who are launching a double-secret bidding war for ULL to join their organizations. Before they left Lafayette, the C-USA officials used the neuralizers they stole from the Men In Black to erase the minds of Dr. Savoie, Farmer, and Richard Simmons, so that they did not recall seeing the C-USA officials.

    Yeah, that's the ticket.
