I'm never going to Berkeley.
"For me, I'm a weirdo and I don't feel weird here. I feel normal." - Tony Franklin
"When I lived in Kentucky, they told me that the founders wanted Jesus to be King of America. Then I moved to Berkley and found out the founders never even heard of no Jesus. I knew I should've voted for Obama."
He will probably tell you he has women figured out too!
Oh....good God. Franklin has now officially gone off the deep end. I don't think I've ever read an article so loaded with arrogance and narcissism. He truly thinks he's evolved to a higher plane, and that people in the conservative south haven't. Wow. But interestingly, he doesn't sound like he really enjoys coaching anymore. He prefers to spend his time with the liberals in the coffee shop or on the protest stump instead of with his fellow coaches.
This story should play real well in Berkley. But I wonder how it will affect his "business" in all those high school coaches offices throughout the rest of the country. In the liberal world of Berkeley, Franklin finds he has more friends outside of football than ever in his adult life. Franklin intentionally doesn't socialize much after hours with other Cal coaches.

Tony has eaten from the forbidden fruit tree and thinks he is in the "Garden of Eden".
It was illegal to be a Baptist in most of the colonies. Almost all of them had a single religion that could be practiced
