Wow.
Insanity is right. And $20 for the use of water and a hose?
That must have been some special water, not to mention a high quality hose. Next thing you know, these students will not be allowed to eat in the same cafeteria where their food is prepared. "You can have your meal, but you have to go off campus to your own table to eat it."
Its all part of the equal treatment. Back in the day, the athletes ate at a separate dining hall in the lower level of Wilson. Us regular students always assumed they had steak every day, instead of once a quarter for us peons.
Reminds me of an incident that happened. I was on the track team and ate at the training table. One day at lunch, as my friends and I were finishing eating, an individual came down the stairs and walked over to the steam table where the food was. As he was looking, we started up the stairs with him a little behind us. As we exited the door for the stairs and turned to head out of the building, he ran over to some friends standing in the foyer area and said "They eat the same shit we do!" Except for the football team during the season, we only got steak when everybody else did. Football got it once a week during the season. The thing most don't know is that they took our meal cards at the beginning of the quarter so we did't have the option to eat at Toliver like everybody else.

Use of the university hose would be the problem...if the golfer lived on campus, she would have access to university water just like any other student living on campus.
Still it boggles the mind how this petty stuff gets reported and penalties handed out while the NCAA gestapo can't complete a straightforward investigation when there are obvious major violations involved.
The problem with the NCAA now starts right at the top with Emmert.
