You know, the last time we didn't make the conference tourney, we had 6 guys drafted.
You know, the last time we didn't make the conference tourney, we had 6 guys drafted.
You also know that there are over 1200 players drafted, and if the percentage of 4-year college players to the total drafted through two days this year held at the almost 60% figure, that would mean each Division I baseball school should have at least two players drafted. Considering the talent pool Tech should be able to recruit from, having three players drafted each year is unremarkable.
Having six drafted off a team that missed its conference tournament is the direct result of coaching ineptitude which has continued but needs to be eliminated.
...one of the three wasn't on the team.
I didn't think 3 was such a big deal, but there was still time left--that's why I said "so far." For a team that only won 19 games, 3 seems pretty good, but I know draft picks are sometimes peculiar, so it's hard to measure a team's success by it. I see the Warhawks had none.
