We saw it last Friday. I noticed KU's opponent was Tech.

Went to see it today. There is one scene where he turns on the TV and Kansas is playing Louisiana Tech in football. Thought that was kind of cool.

Best thing about this is that everyone that noticed are going to notice it AGAIN this fall.

I liked it, and it wasn't so much the violence that I disliked as the overdrawn, over-the-top, Michael Bay-ish action sequences (which, to your point, were also needlessly violent). It was more than a little ironic that after he kills possibly thousands of innocent bystanders by smashing up surrounding buildings while fighting for an hour, he then becomes conflicted when faced with the opportunity to kill Zod.

They could have cut about 15 minutes out of the end. I just kept thinking is this ever going to end, way too many buildings crashing and concrete being torn up. I thought it was a little weird that the people were just standing around watching the buildings come down.

Thing I remember about that game was Livas coming up lame on a 70+ yard end around at the 2 yard line. Came away with no points. The movie could have been better, I give it a B minus.
