Charleston Daily Mail Redd Questions the Move from C-USA

With C-USA having more players on the Maxwell Award watch list than the American Conference (former Big East) and the American having, according to the Orlando Sentinel, "difficulties ... in locking up new bowl agreements," sports writer Derek Redd wonders if the "seven C-USA expatriates aren't getting what they bargained for in filling out those change-of-address forms."

He adds "all is not totally well in C-USA's bowl structure, either," citing a chance of the loss of the Liberty Bowl and the one-year Military Bowl contract.

Losing the Liberty Bowl is old news and probably not a big loss.
