It's official...I'm still a Bulldog--just a Mississippi State Bulldog now. I accepted a position at MSU effective Aug 1st. I will always bleed Tech Blue, but now my red is more of a maroon. I adore my friends and family at LA Tech and have cherished my years here and will miss you all, but I couldn't pass up this opportunity. God is so good; I am so blessed--thanks to all the prayer warriors who have supported me so much during the last two weeks! ‪#‎WeAreLATech‬ ‪#‎HailState‬ — at Davis Wade Stadium.

She had atleast two full time jobs. Now we are missing our marketing person as well as out game management person. I am happy for her that she has a chance to better her career with this move.

She worked real hard for her job, Tech lost a great employee. Whoever takes over her position is going to have a steep learning curve. But at least the new AD is going to be able to put some of his people in the right places now.

This position is one of the most important in our Athletics Depart - IMO. I am not a fan of the marketing and event responsibility falling to the same person, but I am sure financials dictate this. It is not hard to figure where the person's priorities lie between those two responsibilities - event management has to happen and be done well. However, Tech needs a major emphasis in marketing and it needs to be a sustained effort over a long-term horizon. I wish the Foundation would consider funding a marketing position for the next few years until it begins paying off and we could break this catch-22 situation we live in with regards to funding marketing.

She'll be doing the exact same thing at Miss. State as she did here. . . . with a much bigger pot of money to spend:
