So basically everybody in the country is on the right path with alternate uni's and the best we can come up with is an american flag sticker.
Yeah our sticker reveal was kind of sad, I mean lets get some stars in our jersey stripes.. do the whole thing. We took the cheapest route possible
I want us to update to the Nike Pro Combat Speed jerseys.
Example (but with Tech colors):
We have the best looking uni in the nation: our "road" white jersey/blue pants/red helmet. Here's an idea for a change, for ya. Tech should wear white jerseys at home.....yes, like the Cowgirls and LSU do. As much as I dislike both of them, the 'girls and the tiggers have nailed it. Then, they almost always also wear white on the road. Thus, when you think of either of those team you visualize them in white jerseys. In fact, they both look horrible in their dark jerseys. It's like, who the hell is that team!? All these stupid uni changes are counter-productive in building a marketable product. Fans can be wearing "team colors" and still look like a hodge-podge of neutrals. A few years ago, led by Oregon, a few schools started uni changes to stand out, get noticed, and attract interest. Now, to be different, you have to remain the same, year after year. Otherwise your goofy uni manifestations get lost in a sea of "everybody is doing it."
Our blue problem is North Texas' green problem.
Different combos cost money, but different combos make money.
Everything is marketable.
Okay, the Bulldogs have broke camp and getting ready for Game Week No. 1.
Enough, already, about uniforms, colors, media guides, KTBS, Lah Tech, etc.
Let's talk about Kenneth Dixon and Tevin King . . . in another thread.
