In addition to beer being sold in the stadium for the first time ever, the ULM concessions will also have vendors like Johnny’s Pizza, Catfish Cabin and Smitty’s Famous Philly Cheese Steak.

We've had Johnny's haven't we?
We will see on Saturday, but I have heard we might have a pizza oven for Johnny's this year. Concessions is supposed to be improved (I may have heard this before though). We will see.
They have a new AD.
New concession stands. Have our voices been heard finally? I also saw one for Johnny's Pizza and a couple of generic ones.IMG_0610.jpgIMG_0611.jpg
Ha. It looks like those two university presidents couldn't put enough space between themselves. They could barely grasp hands for the handshake.
First of all, ULM hasn't figured out jack squat. They are only capitalizing on a very simple fact that everyone has knownsince the invention of beer about 12,003 years ago - beer makes collegefootball much more interesting. Whether for better or for worse theintensity of the fans in the stands at those early gridiron battles washeightened when beer was introduced into the realm of collegefootball. There was no NCAA rulings at the time to control what food andbeverages were served so there is no telling what other things were served thatmay have been even more potent than beer.
The article mentions NLULM hanging banners at the stadium to "recognize ULM’s history." Guess they've been by JAS. How long have our banners been up - 4-5 years now? More from the article. "The banner lists the national championship years as well as the 2012 Independence Bowl appearance."
I've been meaning to mention that. Weren't those supposed to be taken down every off-season to prevent the wear and fading that they've undergone? That way they would stay as vibrant for longer. I suspect it won't be too many more years before they're barely recognizable and will need to be replaced. Hopefully, we'll have some to add.
Back to the point of the thread.........
"In moment of brilliance, the Monroe Police Dept, requests that ULM start serving alcohol inside the stadium. Practically a guarantee that yearly fine quota will be met each football season. Donuts for everyone!!"
