Another close one with the Dirty Birds. Great job by Luke as holder. (Just messing with ya! ) Bottom line we are 1-0 baby!

Took a nap with my son and missed the last 10 minutes. Wifey told me the best part was the last 2 minutes.
Great game but way too close. Glad we picked up the Cowgirl's ex DC. Holding the Dirty Birds offense to 17 points is pretty dang good.
I know you are joking, but Luke actually did a really good job on the last field goal. He handled a high snap and got it down in time for the kick. Without that field goal, the game most likely goes to OT, because ATL would have been in range to tie it at the end with a FG of their own.
The defense held the Atlanta offense to 7 points in the final three quarters, which gives me a lot of hope for that unit as the year goes on. Just need to get some people healthy. We also need to clean up the holding penalties on offense and special teams.
It's the W that counts. Great win.
Saints??? R U frickin kidding me? 16-14. I'll take it.
Wasn't napping this time. Saw the whole thing. A win on the road in the NFL can come any way it wants. Good enough for me.
Thank you DC Rob Ryan for that defense even without 5 projected starters!!!
Today, Coach Payton was reminded of the old saying, "never take points off the board." It wasn't pretty, but a win is still a win.
I questioned his decision(s) while it was happening, and now, after they did luck into a W. Dumb is as dumb does. The Bucs are snake-bitten. Two "walk-off" game-losing FGs for them: 18-17 Jets and now 16-14 Saints. TB's defense has given up a grand total of TWO TDs in two games. Yet, they are 0-2. But....again, stoooopid decisions. Changed to a coverage-scheme, instead of all-out blitzing on that last Saints' drive. Gave Brees time, and time for the Saints' routes to develop. BIG mistake! Result: Brees sliced 'em up like a surgeon. Nah! shoulda kept blitzing. It had worked the whole game. On Graham's long TD play, the Bucs didn't blitz and they also blew the coverage. Saints' O could do nothing with the blitzes. The Saints' D played well, but you have to remember the opposition, the Bucs stink on O. Oh well. It's the NFL and it's true, any W is a good W.
I didnt neccesarily disagree with going for it on forth and goal, even thought it was a full yard. I was fine either kicking it or going for it. But to give the ball to Ingram? That guy couldn't run over me!!! He cannot put his head down and run through someone, and we give him the ball on forht and goal from the 1? Come on, man!!!
