M. Basketball. Bulldog Basketball Announces 2013-14 Schedule

We had every game except the exhibition games against Arkansas-Monticello and Southern Arkansas.

Also, it looks like the Southern Miss game changed from Saturday to Sunday probably for TV.

What do y'all think about the home game start times? Weekday games at 6:30 and Saturday games at 6:00 with doubleheaders at 7:00 and 8:00.

We have to find a way to upgrade our MBB schedules. Our Gulf States home slate is not exciting at all, and there's no good that comes from playing those Gulf States teams on the road. I think we need more games with peer conferences like the Mountain West, American, Missouri Valley, A-10, WCC, and New Mexico State.

I can tell you this, teams that know we have a good team coming back are not going to schedule us. Thats why a Jackson State makes the schedule. I remember being in the coaches office and the asst coach called a HIGH PROFILE school about a game. The coach from that school asked who Tech had coming back and when the coach named out the players, he said "NO WAY". The coach offer to go to their place two years in a row and the coach still said no.

Coach White already said that Alabama backed out of a deal, and every SEC team refused to schedule us for a guarantee game.
