...MOVE ON!!!!!!!! Our Dawgs have a game in 2 days.
Did our offense play like sh*t last Thursday? Hell yes.
Did our HC/coaches make some stupid/bonehead/questionable calls/decisions? Hell yes.
The fact still remains, we have a long season still ahead. These boys need our support.

We're rebuilding. All we can do is try our best and hope to improve week-to-week.

We shouldn't be rebuilding after losing 32 seniors? (Including our QB, entire O-line, and 2 NFL caliber WRs)
We shouldn't be rebuilding after hiring a new HC and an entirely new Coaching Staff?

We're more than rebuilding because Dykes left the cupboard totally barren. We shouldn't be in a position like we are, but because Dykes relied so heavily on JUCOs, here we are.
Dykes was building toward HIS future, not ours. It's understandable, but it has now put us in a cycle where we HAVE to rely on JUCOs to maintain competitiveness (which we aren't). We need a top flight coach to get us through the spot that Dykes left us in...I fear that we don't have one. I certainly hope that I'm wrong.

We plan Kansas in 2 days.
Until we can find the "Leon Barmore" of football, we will continue to go through rebuilding periods every 3 to 4 years. Someone who is interested in building the program rather than padding their resume. I think what has everyone so down right now is that this is the best "schedule for success" that we have ever had and it is very frustrating that we don't seem like we are going to be able to take advantage of it. I think the days of Barmore and Bowden are over. It's OKAY for us to be a stepping stone, but it makes EVERY hire pretty crucial. We need young and hungry coaches who will leave us better than they found us. Dykes improved our perception, but decimated our depth and we're paying the price. Agreed. We do not need to be a university, where "old" coaches go to finish out their careers and die. That does NOT move a program forward.

Idk how he'd be as a head coach, but I do know that when (not if) Holtz leaves and (if) we promote Tim to HC, he will die as Bulldawg HC.
