That was the worst LaTech commercial I have ever seen. That was embarrassing.

It's not on our YouTube channel. The production and direction were very amateur. It looked like it was produced 15 years ago for a high school project. They videoed several students regurgitating scripted lines, and it came off very unauthentic and cheesy. Then out of the blue a narrator said... We are... THE... TECH... There was no unifying theme to the message. Very odd and unprofessional.

It was pitiful....looked like it has been around since TB days. NOTHING in that ad made me want to send my kids there.....if I was a casual observer.

There is no supporting campaign for "THE TECH" in newspapers, magazines, websites, etc. It has to be nothing more than a class project for someone.

Exactly. I could probably get on board with THE TECH if it was part of an overall marketing campaign, but yesterday was the first time I have ever seen or heard it. The execution of it was very poor.

But to me the worst part about the commercial was that it wasn't professional.

We have a tendency to produce crappy commercials. I'm sure no one here needs to be reminded of the "stomp" fiasco.

It seems like every few years we get a new crappy commercial. Can we just pay a real (national) advertising firm to do a good one. It is embarrassing to have that on national TV. It doesn't promote us well.
