Sonny Dykes left when the cubbard was bare! This is not a team that Skip Holtz recruited; he just inherited it's starters. The offensive line is horrible to say the least. I don't care how talented Dixon, and King are they are not going to be productive with that offensive line, and inexperienced quarterbacks. There were people that wanted Dykes fired after the Houston loss in Ruston. I think that we need to be patient.

The lineman that we are playing are juniors and seniors. There are some young lineman that we could play that are not obese and if we do play them our OL will probably really improve just like our QB play has really improved since playing the redshirt freshman.

Sonny's recruiting classes were on par for what La Tech normally gets (as per the rating services). We may be down on number of bodies on the team because of limits to how many guys you can sign each year but the ratings have beenconsistent.

So why all of a sudden is ourcubbard so bare? I say its not, especially compared to who has beat us this year. Our problem is COACHING.
