Football Future C-USA Bowls (2014-2019 seasons)

I think this is what it's looking like... (Most of this is old news.)

    Bowl Team 1 Team 2
    Boca Bowl C-USA (2014), American (2015) MAC (2014, 2015)
New Mexico Bowl C-USA Mountain West
New Orleans Bowl C-USA Sun Belt
Heart of Dallas Bowl C-USA (odd), ??? (even) Big 12 (odd), Big Ten (even)
Armed Forces Bowl C-USA (odd), American (even) Big Ten (odd), Big 12 (even), Army (2014)
Hawai'i Bowl Mountain West C-USA (even), American (odd)
St. Petersburg Bowl American C-USA (3 years), ACC (3 years)
Bahamas Bowl American, C-USA, MAC, Mountain West, Sun Belt
Miami Bowl American C-USA, MAC, Mountain West, Sun Belt
The Boca Bowl announcement is at 10:00 a.m. today.

The Bahamas Bowl announcement is on Monday.

The Miami Marlins Bowl should be announced soon.

    Other bowl notes:

    - There will be 39 bowl games (76 bowl teams) starting in 2014.

    - The Little Caesars Bowl will cease operations after this season.

    - The other new bowl games not involving C-USA are the new Detroit Bowl and the Camellia Bowl in Montgomery.

    - Bowls that failed to receive certification: Cure (Orlando), Christmas (Los Angeles), Rice (Little Rock), Toronto, Dublin, and Dubai.

I thought CUSA had a back up arrangement with the Independence Bowl.

The Boca Raton Bowl won't feature C-USA every year.

C-USA, American, and MAC will each be featured 4 times over the 6 years of the contract.

    2014: C-USA vs. MAC
    2015: American vs. MAC
    2016:
    2017:
    2018:
    2019:

I think after the final Advocare Bowl which is this year they will aggressively pursue a CUSA tie in or maybe it should be "desperately" pursue CUSA

I think the I-Bowl has secured the 19 place team from the SEC.

And unfortunately, they will still bring more fans for the game than any CUSA team other than Tech.

Ask the I-Bowl how that worked out for them last year.

    C-USA Bowls for 2014-2015

Barring a collapse of monumental proportions, I believe Tech will play in a bowl this year.
