I'll be there just because of the setting. I wish it was more important than an exhibition game but I'll still take the chance to see what a game was like in Memorial.

My one year at Tech, '58-'59, they killed the lights and introduced the team using a spotlight. I remember one game Joe Adcock was in the crowd and they spotlighted him before bringing the lights back up. Last time I was in MG was to see Wayne Smith play in high school playoff games. Been a while and am looking forward to being there.

I'll be there, very curious to see we look like after losing out two worst players and replacing one of them with Leo Edwards, who looks ready to step in and play now. Add him to an improved team with JUNIORS in Kyser Appleby and Speedy and an improved Alex Hamilton...

Now if we could get Gibby out of the bar and on the treadmill we could be looking at a sweet 16 run..

Best sequence in Tech basketball history:

Joe Ivory vs. Western Kentucky. Big guy for WKU is free on a fast-break, going in for a dunk. The Spider Man comes out of nowhere, blocks it! Goes sliding into the band, which was behind the goal. Tech fast-breaks the other way....Ivory trailing the play since he had to extricate himself from the entanglement with the band. We shoot....miss.....Spider Man comes flying thru the lane, grabs the rebound with one hand and in one motion, BAM! a thunderous dunk! Crowd goes bonkers.

Single greatest play EVER in Tech history.
