The Muleriders were not a bad team at all. And they didn't give up and they didn't back off. The game was good for both teams to prepare for the regular season.

27 assists with 10 turnovers against SAU - that's a good indicator that we were on last night.

One stat that could use some work is our FT shooting - 11 for 17 or 64.7%. It should be noted that our fan led "free throw defense" kept SAU's FT shooting to 13 for 27. In the first half when they were shooting on our end they were 9 for 20 for 45%.

After the game a couple of people asked me what the red headed ref said to me. It was when the ball got lodged between the rim and backboard. I motioned to him and told him to jump for it. He smiled and shook his head. Then Greg hollered to him that was his job. He turned and looked at me, laughed, and told me that there was no way he could get it.
