Very weak
I have been in public/media relations for almost 15 years. This release leaves me at a loss for words.
Who came up with this idea and why?
It's called marketing desperation
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.......naw....
What scares me the most is that there is at least one person who wakes up every morning and says "I know what will market Tech well!"
Uh, Rice "broke" this weak story on Monday. They also put up their own Rice-Tech game film from the game. Don't be so quick to eat your own, Tech fans.

So we post Rice stories on a Tech site w/out notifying the Tech (should be mind) readers.
Why are we trying to ride on the coattails of somebody that quit our team and hasn't been back or contributed in any way for decades? Please correct me if I am wrong in what I have heard.
Rice broke the story via twitter. It had historical footage that is apparently interesting to the reality TV world. Tech "re-tweeted" it. Nothing more. Nothing less. Just another angle to Saturday's game.

I heard this is a story that Rice put out, not LaTech.
I don't think we should rip the bearded man for his choices. I think we should quit trying to revive a horse that died in the 70's. We need to move on and start reaching out to people who want to be involved. Nothing against Phil if he doesn't want to be. Let's work a little harder than to keep going back to Terry, Phil, Karl, Wiley, and Davison for our recruiting/donations/publicity. That might take some effort. I know we have more connections than that, but most of the time it seems that we don't.
