While I admire the spirit of the teacher, that letter is atrocious. Bull Dogs?!? "I hope you can accomplishED...," "it's TO far." Also, it is proper English grammar to capitalize "louisiana tech."

I get your point, but if the teacher is working with English as a Second Language learners in an elementary setting, that is an age appropriate and pretty good letter.

What's to kid? Those kids will be lucky to get out of middle school with a teacher that uses that kind of English. They certainly wouldn't be admitted into LaTech if their application looks like the letter from that teacher.

Seriously, that letter looks like it was probably written by one of the elementary school students, and I assume it is. Either way, what does it matter to YOU? I guess there always has to be somebody who is going to be "that guy" and congrats, it is you today
In a way, yes. All three of my children are in elementary/middle school. And if they had a teacher with that bad a grasp of the English language, I would be at the principal's office to discuss it. There is no way those kids will have a working knowledge of English when they leave that teacher's classroom. I really expected better from Texas
So you know the teacher wrote this? You know the story behind this letter? From the context it could have been one of OUR football players writing to the class.
