I agree. I expect to see Southern, like last year, in the NCAA tournament representing the SWAC when all is said and done. Don't forget, they nearly upset top-seeded Gonzaga last season in the opening round.

Lost vs. Tulane (4-5) - 79-73
Win at North Florida (5-5) - 87-78
Lost at #15 Florida (6-2) - 67-53
Lost vs. UALR (3-4) - 85-82
Win vs. Blue Mountain (NAIA) - 76-59
Lost at Denver (2-4) - 75-74
They are a good team with some tough losses. Losing close games at Middle Tennessee and at Denver, which are tough places to play. They played really well in the Florida loss too. We better come energized and ready to go on Saturday, or we are going to have a home losing streak.

The refs have been inconsistant with the new rules so far. It's almost like they get into the game and suddenly remember, "oh I'm supposed to call that now!"
So SU is whistled for a bunch of fouls....and Tech shoots 12 of 30 from the FT line. How does that help?

All streaks come to an end at some point. After dropping its first home game in almost two years and ending a six-game winning streak this season, Louisiana Tech will attempt to start some new winning streaks on Saturday night at 7 p.m. as they play host to Southern in the Thomas Assembly Center.

If Southern can shut down Hamilton's drive, we need to run our halfcourt offense through Anderson. We did it a few times against ULL and they had no answer for him. Skill likes to call Chris the "x factor" and I think it's especially true when we play teams that attempt to force us into a slower pace.

I also think we beat ULL if Anderson doesn't get into early foul trouble.
