Yes, I'm aware and have already pointed out in this thread that the Saints own the Cowboys. Jealousy of playoff and Superbowl superiority is the only other reason for a Saints fan to hate the Cowboys.

So why the hate for the 49ers ?

What a joke. Saints fans, and all other non-Cowboy fans, hate the Cowboys due to both Jerry Jones' and their fans' arrogance. Its a regional rivalry, one that we dominate. Jealousy not really in the mix.

During that time the Saints had not had a winning season and no playoffs. The two teams were never in the same division. They never really competed. They feel inferior though. Rightly so. That's the way most of the NFL was toward Dallas back in the day. Only the Steelers could measure up. Teams like the Saints were just losers for years and years and years.
