I thought every Saints fan my age (early 30s) hated the 49ers. They were the dominant team in the NFC West when we were growing up. I couldn't stand Montana, Rice, Young, Taylor, Roger Craig, Rathman, etc. That hatred for the late '80s to mid '90s 49ers still exists today.

This Saints fan hates the 49'ers from previous years and years of beatdowns. I hate the cowboys for kicking Landry to the curb. I hate Atl cause they are Atl (mainly fans that agitate me).

I hate any team Manning is on. Do not like New England cause they are just good for too long.

The rest - I'm indifferent to.

Yes, I'm aware and have already pointed out in this thread that the Saints own the Cowboys. Jealousy of playoff and Superbowl superiority is the only other reason for a Saints fan to hate the Cowboys.

Yep…and I was there cheering them on the whole time (at least since 81). Growing up, I never hated the boys. I didn't develop that until I got up to Tech and I couldn't watch the games and had more "interactions" with cowboys fans. And even now, like I was growing up with the niners, I like a lot of the players for the cowboys. The "hate" is just an inward gladness when they show a cowboys game over a saints game and the boys lose.

Now, the Falcons, I hate the Falcons.

Well, anyway the Niners won last night and even though I think the Saints would have a better shot of winning at Carolina than at San Fran, no way can I root for the Dirty Cats.

Ah....of course, that won't matter if we don't beat the Seasickhawks.

My college roommate was a Rams fan. He hated the Cowboys, but the Saints drove him crazy. No matter how bad the Saints were, they always seemed to win a key game against the Rams.
