Charlotte improves to 12-5 (3-1 C-USA) while Marshall falls to 6-13 (0-4 C-USA)... Again, why is our athletic department ignoring this Charlotte game while promoting the heck out of the Marshall Operation Sellout? Our guys can sleepwalk and beat Marshall. Gotta bring our "A" game to beat Charlotte.
Only 2000 tix left for Marshall. I hope this isn't similar to what that idiot in Monroe did.
BTW, free pizza to the first 200 students at the Charlotte game.
LA Tech (3-1 CUSA) 15-4 vs Charlotte (3-1 CUSA) 12-5 just got extremely important for this Thursday night!
What McClelland said in TNS was not true. He's talking the talk but not walking the walk. To our athletic department, it's all about the sellout on Saturday, not about growing our fan base and getting folks to all the games. They are probably trying to make sure most seats are used on Saturday, but what about our huge game on Thursday night. This Charlotte game should be a really big deal. Our AD is completely ignoring it just like they ignored FIU and Florida Atlantic.
I know it's talking to the choir on here but at a certain point, peole need to just show up.
If every die hard fan (3-4k) invited a friend or two at a 60% sucess rate, then we'd grow our attendance leaps and bounds!
I'm not auguring about the promotion/non-promotion thing. Just saying we shoul help out as much we can.
I believe it is Greek night. So there should be more students there. Maybe every game from here on out can be Greek night.
On campus promotion to increase attendance for a Thursday nite game should be easy and inexpensive. Student attendance for BB makes a big impact.
