Our Aramark rep needs to be reminded that there is a cost of doing business EVERY TIME we have an event. It's up to them to promote their products to make up the margins.
I just don't believe that leverage is not being applied.

So many problems with Aramark. Time to call our lawyers and end the contract with them.
In the past there have been too many chiefs between THE Aramark guy and our guy.
Simple things not getting done like those mentioned last night are due to apathy, incompetence, or both on Aramark's part.
We seem to be doing some of the small things that we control, like keeping restrooms clean.

A sidebar . . . ..
Is there a layout/map/diagram of the TAC concourse that's readily available onlie and posted on site? Concessions, tickets, souvenirs, restrooms, stairs, elevator, meeting rooms, etc.?
Maybe I've missed it.

Our old guy liked to pass the buck. Hoping our new guy would take the bull by the horns. He did for football concessions. Not sure what the difference is, but basketball should be very simple. Popcorn and hotdog products are the only thing that can go to waste. The rest is non perishable stuff that can be overstocked. It would be difficult to do, but even if we lose a little money on concessions it shouldn't matter.
Most of the changes/modernizing for the Joe was planned back in the spring and completed during the summer. . . . .

...I meant little things like not running out of ice, water, and food. Also, having enough workers in place. Those things changed for the better in JAS. Not so in the TAC.

It still baffles me how after several years of only one concession stand open, we still havent learned that more fans = higher demand for concessions. It's mind-blowing.
This is what I'm frustrated about. I thought we turned the corner on concessions.
I think it is Aramark and our refusal to continuously apply pressure to them -
We had about 200 or so Upwards Parents/Grandparents/Aunts/Uncles and various other shades of kin in attendance last night - a lot of them for the first time since the Malone and White days and we dropped the ball BIG time with them to make a good first impression
Due to the fact Upwards is kids centered - concessions entered into the equation and unfortunately we dropped the ball

They've had two concessions stands open at most of the games I've been to this year after we complained at the beginning of the season for them only opening one. For some stupid reason, they went back to only one open last night.
There are four concessions stands at the TAC, one of which they turned into a team shop. Last night they had two concessions stands closed and only one open.
Can't wait to see what happens tomorrow!
