So, I'm hearing that Seattle stole Denver's hand signals or something. Might explain how they seemed to know the Denver playbook as well as the Broncos. I did note Kam Chancellor jumping routes all game long, and he NEVER guessed wrong even once. Hmmmm.....maybe because he wasn't guessing, eh.

So how would this not make him a stand-up guy. His players, one a Stanford graduate, are smart enough to steal signals and that reflects badly on Carroll?

That is one thing we know Seattle isnt afraid to do. They dont call them the Seadderall Cheathawks for nothing. Seriously, are we going to look back at this team like we did so many of these baseball players? Seems to be a double standard with everyone on their high horse about baseball players and no one gives a crap when a football player is suspended. Half the Seahawks D has been implicated in cheating. Leads me to believe that the coaches arent just turning the cheek but encouraging this behavior.

He cheated at USC. If he is okay with stealing signals (a HUGE no-no in the NFL) is is still a cheater. He is also indirectly responisble for Holtz being our coach right now.:icon_wink:

Okay I can buy the Holtz animosity.:bigcry:

But, how is this any different than stealing signals in baseball, which is legal. Who besides you says it is a no-no in football?

There have been absolutely no allegations that this a Bellichek situation of filming practices, which obviously is not legal.

I agree with Skill. If you want to communicate at the line, you take the chance somebody will figure out how you are doing it.

Also, if a catcher drops his fingers so that I can see them, my hitters will know the pitch. I would be committing coaching malpractice if the hitters didn't know. (In youth leagues I tell the other team's catcher to hide his signals and work with him if I know the other team's coach well enough).
It's time to close the doors to the Temple of Janus.
