I will be there for this one. Planning to get there in time to grab a beer and something to eat before the game, and hopefully join some other Tech fans at the game. It would be great if we are playing for the 1 seed after a win Sunday. Rice showed nothing that lets me think they can win this, but they do have a good young big man and anyone can get hot.

Monday, March 3rd - One regular season game to play for all C-USA teams. Tech is still not assured of a top 4 seed; however, Tech would have to be the favorite to get the #1 seed. A 5 way tie for the championship is still possible. Wow, what a race!!
I'll be scoreboard watching 4 other C-USA games Thursday night. Unless I can find out if Rice has free public use wifi (don't autocorrect to wife, please) then I may have to break down and upgrade from my 12 year old vintage taped together Motorola Razr to a smart phone with a data plan. This could be the time to replace my beloved phone.
Wait, I can keep my beat up old Razr if I can sit with someone who is scoreboard watching. Anybody going to the Rice game who will be scoreboard watching and can I sit next to you? Dwayne?

If we win this game, do our guys get to cut down their nets after the game? Or is that just a home venue ceremony?
I think it's usually just a tournament thing. However, why not? It's a big deal to win a championship (even a shared one) in an 18 team conference.
