    USM was denied on their trademark application for their eagle logo because the federal patent court ruled it infringed on Iowa's patented hawk eye logo, therefore USM is technically unable to use their eagle head logo. The two logos are very similar.

    Okay, I see now. They can use the new logo, but not the old one. It seems like they would have put the new logo on these concept helmets that's being discussed in this thread.

    At Louisiana Tech, adding or changing a helmet sticker is a huge uniform update. Our athletic department gets so excited that they tweet it 20 times.

    Well, I wish we would at least upgrade our jerseys to the Pro Combat style (sweat wicking and lighter material). I think it's a necessary upgrade. Our first few games are hot as hell.
