All elections, save for POTUS, are local, however. So, each Congressional race, House and Senate, has to be evaluated not only on the national ramifications, but more importantly on the local issues. This is why Landrieu has a very good chance of being re-elected. Most, the VAST majority of Louisiana votes, are not happy she supports obummercare. But, her track record of pork barrel projects and getting critical demographic groups funding will give her a real chance of over-coming the whole obummer mess.
