    New progressive ideas like abolishing slavery? Or women's suffrage? Or a a common currency? Or military strength? Or interstate highways? Or leadership in world affairs?

    If it's the aspiration of most Reps to return America to 1791, I can see why dead people might be inclined to vote against it.

    There needs to be a balance somewhere between 1791 and 2014 or we will be forced to return to a 1791 size federal government and states calling their own shots. (we won't re-enact slavery, or tear up the interstates... lol).

    I don't think it's "as bad." Obama is now trying to make Congress irrelevant (to the cheers of his crowds) and pushing us towards the path of dictatorship. Someone needs to make executive orders unconstitutional before this gets ugly. Bush was bad, Obama worse, what's next?
