Maton opens Game 1 giving up three singles with a little Sim error mixed in...ODU up 1-0 before the first out is recorded.
Monarchs end up with 2 runs with the second scoring on a force play at second.
ODU 4-1 after 2.
SWING THE FRIGGIN BAT PEOPLE!!! Bases loaded and we REFUSE to swing at fastballs right over the middle of the plate. We would rather get called out looking than to SWING THE BAT... and when we do WE CANT HIT IT!

Louisiana Tech committed three errors and Old Dominion scored four runs in the first two innings to help lead the Monarchs to an 8-6 win over the Bulldogs Friday night at J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park.

Tech takes the lead in the bottom of the 5th...4-3
Guess no one has bothered to put in a work order to get the scoreboard clock reset to daylight time.
The photog tells me that we also need some new bulbs at JAS. Add that to the WO.
ODU retakes the lead 6-4 through 7.
Tech ties it with two in the 8th....
Free baseball in the first game of the doubleheader...6-6 heading to the 10th.
Still 6-6 going to 11.
