Could be VERY interesting. Would love to have some HC experience, though. Assistant to HC is a bigger jump than many think. Doesn't mean he wouldn't be very good as a HC - we just don't know. I would definitely support him.

I think everybody in Ruston would love him.

It would certainly be a great story that would make national news.

No pressure to win immediately -

All he has to do is show steady improvement and have his team PREPARED to play

Talent level is lower half of CUSA, but not bottom 1/3 so he has a chance to show immediate improvement

Should get us back into some homes we were not previously able to get into

I think our talent level was above our performance. Also, we have a top 50 recruiting class, if the new coach can hold on to them.

I think this kid has a great future, but he is a little you for a HC. Good heritage though.

I do hope he is the one in town today. I don't normally hop on the band wagon for coaches son's, but I do believe he has been around winning all his life and knows what it takes to build that program.

I agree..... Still a big jump to HC, but I think if anyone could do it, it would be him.

I agree it is a big jump, but, we probably couldn't or wouldn't afford him if he had the experience. I don't mind someone coming here like White and making a name for themselves.

True! If he is the WBB version of White, I think everyone will be VERY happy!

The new WBB head coach will be officially announced at a presser tomorrow morning. The name will be released this afternoon and will probably be on todays evening news (if they choose to cover it).

I have no idea when an official announcement concerning a new assembly center will occur. I suggest you inquire of DawgPix as to when there will be an "official" announcement of that little tidbit.
