He didn't know it, but it was broke before he was hired. He assumed we had 3 years of stockpiled talent for the system....lol. I think y'all are just being paranoid. We will still be a spread team, we'll just have more blockers for Dixon in a couple of packages and we will try to lean on him more than Higgins next year. I wish all Tech alumni were like Terry. Wouldn't that be fun? We are so blessed to have him.
The difference between Bradshaw and Malone is that Malone gets butthurt and pulls funding because his feelings are hurt, Bradshaw sees the bigger picture and doesn't try to hire his friends.
Also, Bradshaw's kids didn't go to LSUA&M afaik.
Most of you who've been here on BB&B for a long time know my creed: "At the college level, IT'S ALL ABOUT THE QB!!" Over the years, I've posted it a thousand times here on BB&B. Glad to see Bradshaw come out and say it too.
By the way, it's always been this way at LA Tech. If you want to know how good LA Tech's football team will be in any given year, start with the QB.
I remember you saying that, but you seem to have switched to "it's all about the head coach" lately.
Well....if our Head coach doesn't have a QB, he should GO GET ONE (this is what most coaches do), or proactively DEVELOP ONE (like Dykes did with Colby).
Yep, or even like most of us (posters on this board). We CARE about Tech. We LOVE Tech. We don't care about other schools. We don't talk about the games of other schools. When a Tech grad asks me "Did you see ***'s game?" I tell them "No. I watch Tech's games." We don't support other schools or wear the gear of other schools. Yet 9 out of 10 Tech grads act like they could not care less about their own school. There are people (Tech grads) who probably don't like me much because I have called them out on their lack of loyalty to Tech. That's ok. I can live with that.

By the way, IMO Higgins should be MUCH, MUCH better this year at QB. Typically a young QB develops a lot between his 1st and 2nd year. Higgins played a lot of football last year, and experienced some moderate success.....AND failure. He should walk into Fall camp with a ton of confidence in 2014.
This is the point where we will find out if Holtz can DEVELOP a young QB or not.
Takes a little time to do that. Took Dykes 2 years.... and he gave us our current QBs.
I agree with this also. That is why it is very important when you have a Senior starting QB to get your backup that will be returning the next year some game experience.
It is my understanding that Higgins also played several games last year where he was injured, and a lot of other players would not have been able to play through similar injuries.
