    Not a question that the NBA is allowed to do what it wants.....just don't agree with the decision.

    I think it was Target (might have the wrong retailer...) that shrugged off some incident years ago, defying Jesse Jackson's threats of boycotts. Don't remember the details, just that management refused to kow tow to the extortion attempt and the boycotts amounted to nothing more than about 20 people at one Target location and that was it.

    In this case, the NBA should have brushed past this with a "oh well, if you think Sterling is a jerk, don't invite him to any of your parties."

    That's exactly what they did. It's their party.

    According to something I heard on NPR, the TV shows "Seinfeld" and "The Andy Griffith Show" were racist shows. The reasons cited didn't make sense.
