Football. Justin Ellis Drafted in Fourth Round of NFL Draft - latechsports.com

A new article has been posted on www.latechsports.com:

"Go West, young man." That is exactly what Louisiana Tech defensive tackle Justin Ellis will do as he was drafted by the Oakland Raiders Saturday in the fourth round of the 2014 National Football League Draft with the 107th selection overall.

There are two kinds of fans. Those that would follow the Raiders over a cliff and those that would push them over a cliff.

Hope Jelly Bean does well and earns a starting job.

"We want to do the pushing around (on the line) and you do that with big people."

They certainly picked the right man for the job in Ellis!

In related news, two former tech commits were signed today.

RB Charcandrick West (abeliene christian) to the Chiefs
WR L'Damian Washington (mizzou) to the Cowboys

Kolton Browning was also signed by the Cowboys.

If any of you guys remember Sammy Seamster from Minden & then LSU, his son Sammy Jr. was signed out of mtsu as a safety by the Ravens.

Also saw where ULL had two tight ends sign, and Southern sent a receiver.

Eric Thomas was a receiver from Evangel we missed on. He was signed by the Colts out of Troy.

I taught L'Damian Math when he was a 6th Grader - He always said he was going to play in the NFL - and at the time he was 5 foot-nothing kid. Congratulations!

Browning didn't sign an UDFA contact with the Cowboys. He just got invited to tryout at Cowboys mini-camp. Same as Shakeil Lucas with the Seahawks.

Thanks for that, makes much more sense. The blogger I read that from didn't clarify.
