Two candidates emerge in Louisiana Tech baseball coaching search
Nearly 10 days after the contract of Louisiana Tech baseball coach Wade Simoneaux wasn’t renewed, a pair of candidates for the opening have already emerged.
According to reports, Tulane interim coach Jake Gautreau and Southern Miss assistant coach Chad Caillet have been in contact with Tech athletic director Tommy McClelland, who said May 19 he hoped to fill the position in two to five weeks.
