He was given twelve years to prove that he could coach, and we have nothing to show for it ... except excuses.

According to him, over the years, it was everyone's and everything's fault but his: budgets, players, travel, fans, facilities, ice machines, etc.

Twelve years, four different A.D.'s and a plethora of excuses, but the reality is none of these excuses can explain his poor Xs and Os, his high roster turnover, and refusal to make changes in the lineup. These are things that he could control ... but he failed to do an adequate (or even mediocre) job.

The bottom line is the dude was not a good coach during his tenure at Tech and received about six more years than most would have been allotted to prove themselves.

Now, let's put this decade-plus debacle behind us and get a coach who focuses on making the team the best he can, not excuses.
