Moving to Ruston

Hello everyone!

I will be attending Tech this upcoming Fall quarter as a doctoral student. I am moving with my family across country. I have been looking for places to rent via the internet. I was wondering if there was a way where I could verify the legitimacy of a rental company. I am slightly afraid to give out so much of my personal information.

Any help or suggestions you can offer would be greatly appreciated!!

If they have a storefront, you should be safe. This place is to small for a fraud to last very long.

Contact local real estate offices. They usually have properties they manage, plus often own their own rental properties.

Gilbert Realty rents a bunch of houses in Ruston, I used them while I was at Tech. Their are a bunch of new apt. complexes right off of campus as well that are nice, but may not be family friendly.

Thank you so much for your help everyone! It seems most places won't let you rent until you are physically in town already. I was hoping to have something arranged before we got there but it is looking like I just may have to wait.
