It will take 4-5 seasons to get things back on track.
I expect to see baseball played. That would be a welcomed change.
I expect improvement right away. A +.500 season next year. A couple of really good recruits including a future ace pitcher. Goff really needs to impress us with his recruiting.
Attitude will improve. The team will go on the field expecting to win.
I just want to make the conference tournament. Not win it, just get in the damn thing.
I can't speak for this past season, but in the previous 4 seasons the TEAM did not expect to lose! I was at every home game and they always played to win. Yes they did lose, usually to the better team, but to give the impression that they expected to lose is truly the wrong thing to say.
Not much. His turnarounds at Montevallo and Campbell weren't overnight. Year 1 was pretty rough at both places. It's a process, and Goff won't have any of his players in the program next season. We have a long way to go just to get competitive again. These last two years were two of the worst in Tech history. I'll be happy with anything but last place in C-USA and if we don't lose any series to any in-state teams.
Next year's schedule is pretty much done, so I think Goff needs to schedule for WINS in Year 2 (weak OOC teams to boost morale and to create a sense of improvement).
Year 3 is when I will expect to see real improvement.

Any word on when his baseball camp is scheduled?
He needs to look at the kid from Ruston who is now drawing interest from the Greenies....
