Rooster,
Keep in mind it will be difficult to ever build that type of facility in that area. The flooding in 1989, which nearly destroyed the softball field, led the athletic department to ask an engineering firm in Shreveport - what's now Aillet, Fenner, Jolly, and McClelland - to study whether even the softball field could remain where it is now. That whole area looked like a B-52 practice range there were so many sinkholes. It took Coach Galloway, Tech Buildings & Grounds, and a group of volunteers months to repair it all.
Since then, Tech hasn't built any permanent structure in that entire area. And it heavily flooded again in 2000.
