My God, don't these people see the harm they are doing to this country? History is important, regardless of how one "feels" about it.

Actually it isn't important in public schools unless it has been distorted and been turned into propaganda. I wouldn't want my kids being forced to hear what is taught the first three months of every year. Stir the pot is the mantra now. Thousands of Christians (Black and White) joined to pray for the latest victims and began to have a peaceful dialogue. Then when the liberals realized no riots, not enough hell raising, not enough hate, they saw the flag in the background of a picture. Now we are where we are.

I'm apathetic about the battle flag, but this deal is stupid.

This REALLY IS what is going on, led from the White House. Obama had such a chance to unite and bring all Americans even as he addressed problems. Great article on that this week in WSJ. His BS is exposed. Could have handled so many challenges to correct problems and unify for the entire country.
