The stupidity of citing the cost of wars never ceases to amaze me. We (probably me!) posted about this issue 10 years ago when the libtards were bashing Bush. For some military units it costs LESS, not more, when they deploy to active combat. For most units it's really a wash, or there is some additional logistic costs which is measured in $millions, not $billions. Now, that doesn't mean we should go off to war just because the costs are not that much. Of course not.
Right now there are about 6,000 troops sitting at Fort Polk. Guess what libtards! they are being paid. They are training and burning fuel in tanks and Humvees. They are being fed! they are using electricity in buildings, they are using ammo in training, etc.... in other words, it costs taxpayer money. Not much changes re: taxpayer money, when they deploy to war.
The cost of war, in terms of dollars, is NOT the military budget. It's the small difference between peace time and war time activity. In some cases our allies, or friendly nations, foot the bill for some of our costs, such as housing units and logistics. In some cases it costs US taxpayers NOTHING! Other times there are some costs for logistics. Yep!
But, it's much harder to make an anti-war/anti-GOP President case with the low-information crowd if you don't throw around the lie of "$trillions" spent.
I absolutely disagree with the Invasion of Iraq and I think it will haunt us for decades, however, we are there and must complete the mission. This sitting President has done nothing but destroy the credibility of our great Nation, coward to out enemies CUBA, IRAN and Russia and ignored our new ones ISIS. We are no longer respected globally, because we have a pansy muslim who seems hell bent on destroying us before he leaves. 6 years of the crap makes me truly revaluate who George Bush really was and how his legacy should truly be perceived.
And his love for the military, the common man and his moral internal compass. However, I still think where he went terribly wrong was forcing Sharon to kick his own people out of portions of Israel against God's wishes and the Bible/Torah. It was detrimental to both the US/Bush and Israel. And Obama has a down a much worse path against Israel.
Obama needs to put on a pair of panties and a dress!!!!!!
I think he wore those in the Chicago bathhouses he was rumored to frequent and probably still does in secret.

WAS ROMNEY RIGHT? Joint Chiefs pick appears to back Mitt on Russia
GEN. JOSEPH DUNFORD, chosen by President Obama to replace the Pentagon’s top military officer, has put the administration in an awkward position
after remarks in which he called Russia 'the greatest threat to our national security' — a stance taken by 2012 GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney.
My gosh, Woof. You only use slogans. No concept of truth. No original thought whatsoever.
