I used to be an Astro fan until that pig Commissioner/Mariner's owner forced them into that league that doesn't play real baseball. Also the Comcast Sports Channel Debacle didn't help either.
Stros all the way.
Like most other Astros fans, I wanted the Astros to remain in the NL. I followed them very closely until they tanked, and my interest got even less when they moved leagues. However, now my interest in the Astros is picking up again since they may not finish as the worst team in baseball.
As to the question about which team I would prefer to GM - well, that would definitely be the Stros.
I have followed both, but lean a little more toward the Rangers. But, I can't stand Bud Selig, and I really question his move to force them to play in the AL (and I agree that the AL doesn't play real baseball).Originally Posted by sportdawg
Selig's main reason for wanting the Astros in the AL was to balance the leagues, with 15 teams each. But, when Selig owned the Brewers in 1998, they moved from the AL to the NL. So, why not just move the Brewers back to the AL where they came from? Any conflict of interest since he was the former owner, and his daughter is now the owner? I can't stand Selig, and I'm glad he is finally retiring. His departure is good for the game.
Stros, but my interest in baseball is at around 10%.
