Saw that, it's crazy.
I have Comcast and experienced their customer service many time. 90% of the time it's a very painful experience.
I agree wholeheartedly! I refuse to talk with a customer service rep that is not from the USA. I will hang up and call back until I get one. What the hell can a service rep in the Philippines do for for me here in North Louisiana and why should they care (they usually don't)!
I dropped Time Warner before they were taken over by Comcast. I am glad I did now. U-verse is so much better!

U-verse is $50 a month cheaper than what I had with TW plus a $200 gift card. Price is guaranteed for 2 years. I also got a story from the wife after traveling to NJ where her sister has comcast. She implied that comcast is now charging for what used to be free on demand. As much a couple of dollars and episode of previously aired series (in this case it was the previous season of the Americans).

There's a reason that you get hundreds of thousands of hits when you Google "evil Comcast".

Just pulled the trigger on u-verse last night. The guy told me that, because I have an att cell phone, I can constantly "recycle" the contract and I don't have to worry about my bill going up as long as I have an ATT phone.
I'll pay more, but I get WAY more channels. I'm not sure how the internet will compare, but I got a direct line to speak to an American (not an automated system) whenever I have issues.
Just on my little section of the street, this salesman had gotten 5 to switch last night. In very glad u-verse is finally available in my little patch of South Highlands.
Important to note...do NOT look at U-Verse or any similar services such as CenturyLink's PRISM or Verizon's FIOS as simply a "TV Alternative" ---that hasn't even begun to scratch the surface of what that Technology pipeline into your home can mean to you in the coming years. Buckle your seatbelt...you're gonna LOVE this.
I don't understand why Foster Cambell and his crew give Comcast rate increases when they know Comcast will soon be cutting prices to compete in the market they now control.
Having to pay $150ish per month for decent cable and internet service is nuts! Oh, I get a home phone with it. Had it for years and never hooked it up.
Without divulging too much...think complete home automation, integrated communications platform, instead of yelling for the kids to come downstairs for dinner, you pop up on the video screen in their room. Hunny-do lists, no more need to leave notes on the fridge...it's all on the Video screen. Home climate control, security, lights, personal banking, home office applications...welcome to life with the Jetsons.
