I thought the tone of Mulkey's comments was totally out of place in context of the hall of fame setting. In addition, factual incorrect on numerous comments- Karl Malone donated $$ for floor, thus his name attached to it. Scotty Robertson along with F. Jay Taylor(called him Jay) have died- usually have things named for you after death. Nothing named for Jackie Moreland. Not questioning at all something will need to be named for Leon someday. Just thought the way she went off was inappropriate. Donation could have been made without all that drama.

It’s time for all of you — there are a lot of big dogs in this room who are Louisiana Tech people — it’s time for you to do something for this man on that campus. I don’t know if it’s a building. I don’t know if its a statue. I don’t know if it’s a street. I don't see or hear drama in her comments. She didn't say Malone, Taylor, or Robertson didn't deserve their honors. She seems surprised that similar donations to honor Barmore haven't happened, so she's starting the movement.
