Louisiana Tech University
Flagship of the University of Louisiana System
I was in a Poli Sci class with her in '99.
When my daughter was growing up and competing in pageants, I would tell people my 3 favorite sports all began with the letter B - Baseball, Basketball, and Beauty pageants.
I was there in Monroe the night Faith Jenkins won the Miss Louisiana crown. Faith had been Miss Louisiana Tech, but I don't think she was Miss Louisiana Tech when she was crowned Miss Louisiana. She did finish 1st runner-up in the Miss America pageant. My family was very upset when Faith didn't win Miss America.
She was one of our Orientation Leaders when I worked as one of the directors. She is a great person and always represented Tech well. I wish her luck in her new venture.
Is there an echo in here? :icon_wink:

I remember one particular conversation -- on social / moral freedom -- where I insisted that people have a fundamental right to make stupid choices. "Not in my world!" replied Faith.
So yes, Faith can be a bit of a right winger. But no one is perfect. She makes up for it by being a Miss America runner-up and a tv star.
Glad for her, but does tv need another show i wont watch?
I complain every night about nothing worth watching. Where is breaking bad, the shield, sopranos etc. when you need them.
I'm happy for Faith. But shouldn't the qualifications for "TV Judge" include having served as a "courtroom judge" in some capacity? Have reality TV producers no standards? (Just kidding on the last part...)
Most of them have at least been retired judges.
