OU -37.5!
Wow
OU -37.5!
Wow
Expecting more or less? I don't expect any respect to be given to us at this point.
I would hope we could cover, but we did lose by NC State by 36 to open the season last year. Yes, we are improved, but Oklahoma is light years ahead of NC State last season.
We were 4-8 ATS last season. We only covered vs Kansas, UTEP, FIU, and USM.
-37.5 might be a little high, but it is reasonable. OU beat ULM 34-0 in their opener last year and of course they beat Alabama by 14 points on Jan 2nd.
Not surprising.
Those odds seem very high. Stoops has had the nasty habit of running up the score, however.
Vegas knows. They figured out our HC a loooooong time ago.
LaMon is a dog vs. WF at home. Embarrassing!
Ole Miss favored by 10 at Boise? Times have changed.
Houston by 12 over who some consider a C-USA top team, in UTSA.
I'm seeing most O/U at 51.5-52. That means Vegas predicts about a 44-7, 45-7 OU win. I just don't see it getting that out of hand.
We're also the largest underdog of the week per Vegas Insider. A lot of FBS teams are playing instate/regional FCS teams for tuneups, so those won't have lines, but yes. We are the largest week 1 underdog. Good locker room material, imo.
If they can score 45 on Alabama, they can probably do that to us too (understatement?). This probably won't be pretty. But ULL will look slow next week compared to this team.
LaLaff will open as an appoximate 10.5 favorite over us.
I'm feeling like 45-14 :/
I think, that the Boise / Ole Miss game is being played in Atlanta, makes a little difference also. Not on the Smurf Turf.
