For LA Tech, the previous record was 88 yards by Gerald Lawrence on Nov. 9, 1991 versus Southern Illinois. For C-USA, the previous record was 96 yards by Houston's Antowain Smith at Pittsburgh on Sept. 14, 1996.
LA Tech's previously longest play in history was 94 yards (
