That was just plain fun to watch!

Great night. My kids finally watched a whole game. Sokol and Dixon are just flat out great. The defense is great. Was definitely amongst those looking forward to basketball season, but so glad to have some great fun in the meantime....and way more than thrilled to have two more football fans in my house!

I hope all the good folks from Flower Mound came to their backyard to watch Hunter play so well.

Tech showed more dimensions last night than in any performance of the 2012 dream team. Hunter, Trent, Kenneth, Sterling, Paul .... QB play, Run Stop, Pass Coverage ..... all we seem to be missing is special teams

Multiple formations, QB under center and a little defense IS fun

The TD catch which Hunter made on that bullet Sokol threw out in front of him was awesome!

I loved the old straight "T" formation LA Tech ran in the second half for Dixon's running TD. It was a good old fashion "sweep" play with blockers leading the way for Dixon. UNT was all wigged out.....had no clue how to stop it.

Holtz is turning out to be a great play caller (remember, he took over play calling duties this season.)

Yep, and they ran it perfectly. Have seen that formation since high school.

Not to turn this in to a HL love fest thread, but I don't recall him missing many catchable passes. One last year, but they didn't give him the drop. The guy is a football player. Get the ball to him and good things happen. Dykes and Franklin igored him as a weapon in 2012 and Holtz/Peterson/whoever ignored him last year. Yes, we had receivers open last year.

Looks like Taylor is also that type player. We actually have another one on the defensive side of the ball in Michael Mims.

That's the most surprising thing about all this for me. But it's true. I'm sure it's also easier to call plays when you have a good QB.

Hunter Lee defines a football player. I wish we had another year with him, he is gritty.

I was hoping HCSH would let Higgins run the same plays as Sokol but alas we called the dive play and quick pass to Henderson. Looked like last years offense. I am not complaining but I hope they open the playbook for Higgins when or if he plays again.

Just plain fun to WIN too, especially DOMINATING both sides of the ball, exciting offense, D that's stuffing 'em. It is so cool to be enjoying the energy and passion on BBB today. Thanks to my two sons Caseydawg and Jordan for updating me by text all during the game. Wonderful night sitting by a Spring River campfire following the Dawgs any way possible. Hope there's a replay available Wednesday. Go dawgs!

I agree! He gives you way more than just talent and skill- he has heart, and you can coach that. He will be missed next year!
