Surprised there's not a thread on this already. Tech's opponent for next week --Auburn-- is playing at KSU tonight. I swear this game looks like it's being played in slow motion. Neither team is impressive. Lots of dropped passes and clumsy play. Right now Auburn leads 3-0, with 7:48 left in the 2nd Qtr.
KSU missed on 2 previous scoring opportunities, including a missed 41-yd FG attempt, and a dropped pass in the end zone. Auburn also dropped a pass that appeared destined for a TD.
KSU takes the lead with 4:56 left in the 2nd QTR. Score is 7-3, KSU. Auburn showing softness everywhere.
Auburn's D look scary but their O does not. They may be just a powered up version of North Texas.

I've got a feeling you won't think their O looks weak next week. They are playing a very disciplined and talented D. We've got young talent but we also make quite a bit more mistakes than K State. You don't see many missed tackles by K State tonight. Everyone seems to be wrapping up well. That is the specifica area that concerns me on our defense.
Our O needs to come out hot otherwise their Oline will wear us out.
On another note, their special team is not special.

Auburn scores on a rediculously easy play. The Auburn WR turns a short "down and out" pass play into a 40-yd TD. And it wasn't because he had blazing speed (though he might). On the play, the KSU Safety slipped down --and i mean fell all the way to the ground-- before another KSU DB named Burns literally runs up to the Auburn receiver and puts his hands all over the player with the ball, --but still doesn't make the tackle. DUMB!! The Auburn WR easily runs it in from there.
Score Auburn 10, KSU 7. 2 min left.
I wouldn't say that AT ALL, if you are watching this game. KSU has missed a ton of tackles already, incuding an easy one on Auburn's TD pass play.
That is one missed tackle. Auburn is getting little to no yards after contact.
KState is trying their best to give Auburn this game. Keep shooting themselves in the foot.
Exactly. KSU should be up by at least 10 points right now. One drive ended for KSU when the KSU receiver had a TD pass bounce off his chest and into the hands of an Auburn DB. So KSU comes away from that drive with NO points when they should have had 7. Plus they've missed two mid range FG's.
Oh please. Auburn has looked like they are playing with cement blocks on their feet.
