I think losing to ULL would have made even the strongest of us miss the first home game. But we don't have to worry about that either way.

. Last year tore me up -- expected a lot. But we lost 3 in row including miserable Army game. Came back to Ruston and had ticket sales of 21,000. Probably 16-17,000 there. Last game of year around 16,000 after most fans threw in towell. Point is, football is still big deal for Tech. We still have pride in Tech-- last year in middle of disappointment we would watch certain players like Ik- Ellis and talk about pro potential. I liked our secondary -- wanted to vomit when O on field--

When is the last time Maryland won a football championship though? Come basketball season they're fans are going missed playing Duke, UNC, UVA and Syracuse versus Northwestern, Iowa, Nebraska. Think that might hurt tickets sales$$$$$
